Life Update 3

This update is a small one. There hasn't been anything too exciting to upload. On 10/22, I had an appointment with my rheumatologist, and so I spent the day with my family down in Edmond. I had a blast with them. We started the day with my aunt's appointment, and so while they were in the doctor's office, I was out in the car watching Chopped on my phone. It was relaxing. My cousin was asleep, it was quiet, and the windows were down during a nice breeze. While watching it, I was working on my embroidery project for my boyfriend's birthday gift (Finished product will be uploaded once I'm done!!).
After at least three episodes, they finally come out of the building and back into the car. We had some time to kill, and we went to a cute little store that is like Dollar Tree and Five Below had a baby. We went into Daiso, and I loved seeing my aunt's reactions to the store. I got a new embroidery hoop at the store, and it was a good time. Then we had to drive to my doctor's appointment, and we had to wait for a bit in the room.
My doctor finally comes in and tells my mother and me that the labs I had done were great, other than the fact that the results he wanted from the labs were not there. He scheduled another lab work for me to go to, and I'm to see him next month. Cool... As we drive around again, we decide to go to Red Robbin for lunch. It was so good, and I actually surprised myself by ordering the appetizer for everyone, instead of them ordering it for a change.

During lunch, my sugar dropped low for the first time, and I was shaking so badly. I had never felt that way before, and it concerned me. Also, during lunch, my doctor's office called me and said that I do not need to do the lab work since the results were pending and would be coming in. I was so happy to hear that because I do not like needles and blood makes me gag/throw up. We finish lunch, and our next stop is our local library to pick up a book that I had on hold. I walked in and thought that this display was so cute that I had to share it.
Finally, I went into the grocery stores with my family instead of sitting in the car. I think change is just around the corner for me, even if it is late into the year.  I am expecting to get a cactus next week, and I am so thrilled about it because I have always wanted a cactus. I already know that I am going to name my cactus, Jerry. We finished our day by going to Dollar Tree, where I purchased a few things to craft gifts for my boyfriend's upcoming birthday. I am pretty proud of how they are turning out.
I spent all day yesterday painting, drawing, and coloring. I found some ideas on Pinterest again, this time finding some ideas for some envelopes that I plan to fill later this week. I was working so hard yesterday that when I started to work on embroidery, I was devastated when my hands broke out in an allergic reaction. I was asked by our friend if I wanted to play D&D, and even though I wanted to, my boyfriend and I  didn't think it was a good idea when I felt so miserable. Now that it is a new day, I plan to fully put pedal to the metal and to get things on the move. I plan to finish at least most of my gifts today, and hopefully he isn't reading this because I cannot mark the images as spoilers!!  I have a few more surprises that I am excited for him to receive.

I suppose that this update is a lot longer than I thought it would be... The only other thing that I think is worth updating on is that I found my cat, Shadow, in the sink. He looked so adorable that I had to snap some photos of him.  He is a year old now. We got him when he was a few weeks old in October of 2024, and he was so tiny. Now, he is 20 lbs. of pure muscle, not even fat. He's heavy and very strong for a cat. He is very adaptable and smart, knowing how to break out of his cage, that he sleeps in and into the rooms we try to keep him locked out of. I love this mischievous boy so much. I think that this is for sure the last update for this post. I didn't think that this would be a long one, but here we are. Thank you so much for reading it and sticking through it like a champ. I will have a review of the book that I had checked out uploaded soon.
