Life Update 4

Introducing our newest family member-Soda Pop! He is roughly 6 weeks old, and he is such a sweetie! Shadow, Tree, and Juliet are still adjusting to him. I guess it has only been 4 days since we got him, but he has already made himself a prominent figure in our family. He loves to cuddle under blankets and loves to run around and meow. He is such a rambunchus little ball of energy, but amazingly is less energetic than Shadow was at his age. He hops around a lot and we're still trying to get Soda Pop used to his name. 

Another update is that a friend of mine has recently commissioned me to embroider a pillowcase for him. I'm working on it as well as the gift package I've been working on for my boyfriend and it is an interesting challenge for me! I'm having a lot of fun trying to figure out how to do this Totodile while trying to keep myself from accidentally sewing up the hoop and pillowcase. A few places in Oklahoma have been helping EBT and SNAP users with food and offering free meals, which is amazing. I am so proud to be an Oklahoman in that regard, but I will refrain from going into politics because...let's face it...its a thing that exists and I am not happy with our Govenor. 

An update on Tree...She has recently torn my arms up and we were going to surrender her, but I didn't want to do that. I feel that with time, she will open up and she will be more trusting. She is a very curious cat and I love the expressions on her face. She is very expressive and loves her hair ties. I cannot get a moment's of peace when she wants to play. Her favorite game is fetch. She will bring her hair ties to me and paws at things until I throw them. Let me tell you, the amount of sleep I lost over her zoomies is enough to make me cry, but she is worth every bit of it. I hope that she will come to understand that I just want to love her and be her friend. I want Soda Pop, Shadow, and Juliet to get along and I would include Tree, but she is a room kitty since she is scared of the others. I wish they would all get along. I love all four of them immensley. I will have a book review coming soon! It's been so busy with crafting, my mental, and with Soda Pop that I haven't found the time to finish Moon Called by Patricia Briggs but I will get it done soon since its nearly due! Cats and crafts are amazing ways for me to get out of my own head, and watching my boyfriend play games is also relaxing. I feel like things are gonna be alright once more.

  A little information For many cozy fans, Stardew Valley is everything...but what if I were to tell you that there is a brand-new cozy game that is, in my opinion, much more darling? Peaceful Days is a new farming sim game that was released on November 6th, 2025. This game has been in development for 6 years prior, and it has finally reached launch and patch 1.0. I don't have much time in it currently, due to the 2v8 game mode coming back to Dead by Daylight, but this game has had me hooked since I tested out the demo. The developer is Nhat Nguyen, and they are quite remarkable. They are a solo developer who is going through some medical issues and wants to use this adorable game to help treat their kidney disease. Life Update 3

   This update is a small one. There hasn't been anything too exciting to upload. On 10/22, I had an appointment with my rheumatologist, and so I spent the day with my family down in Edmond. I had a blast with them. We started the day with my aunt's appointment, and so while they were in the doctor's office, I was out in the car watching Chopped on my phone. It was relaxing. My cousin was asleep, it was quiet, and the windows were down during a nice breeze. While watching it, I was working on my embroidery project for my boyfriend's birthday gift (Finished product will be uploaded once I'm done!!).  After at least three episodes, they finally come out of the building and back into the car. A Witch's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon Review

  My Initial Thoughts I first saw this book at Half Price Bookstore in OKC and hesitated on buying it. The cover initially didn't look promising. Growing up, we are taught to " Never judge a book by its cover ," but as readers, is it not one of the first things we do to determine if we want to check the synopsis? Now, as I have said, I originally slept on this book. Somewhere in May, specifically on May 11th , my best friend and I went to the library to find a book (or in my case...books...) to read. As I was browsing the app, I ended up typing the book into the search since I couldn't get it out of my mind for some reason. I was overjoyed when the library had it. I ended up checking it out with at least five other books. I ended up DNFing those other books, due to overwhelming myself... I started reading A Witch's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon immediately.
